Common Features of Displays

The displays within Derivity Analytics share several useful features.

Layouts

The settings for a display, for example the currency and periods, can be saved to a layout file. Multiple layouts can be loaded and viewed at the click of a tab.

Quick Access

The supplementary functions of the displays are easily accessed via the right-click context menu and shortcut buttons positioned on the status bar.

Context Information

Clicking on a rate will show a full textual description in the status bar. In addition, detailed information such as the underlying data source and time of last update is easily accessed via the Rate View popup.

Reference Live Rate

The live value of the selected rate is always displayed, allowing quick reference when modelling calculation values.

Date View

The Date View popup allows warning of any non-working date entered, along with details of the underlying currency holidays and a suggestion for a replacement date.

Appearance

Display colours and fonts can be modified. Many displays are configurable, both for grid dimensions(rows and columns) and features. Resizing a display window will automatically scale the text inside.

Printing

All displays support printing.
