Updates for Derivity Analytics Version 5.1.2
Active8 Users
Update 003 for version 5.1.2 is now available. This contains an improved instrument database for Active8 version 2.0 users. Improvements from previous updates have been rolled into Update 003 so that you only have to install the latest one for full functionality. These updates include:
- The latest Instrument Database for Active8 (idb_mtrs_telerate.mdb)
- The database included in this update includes term structures which take their data from an improved range of banks and brokers.
- Data requests from pages appear as
<WFR> - A change to the delivery mechanism for page-based data in Active8 version 2 meant that some page requests failed. This Update fixes the problem.
- TwinDDE does not start automatically.
- This Update looks for the Active8 installation path and sets Derivity Analytics to start TwinDDE from that directory.
- Some of the Derivity displays cannot be loaded into Active8
- If you are running Active8 version 2.0.0 then only five of the ten
Derivity Analytics displays can be loaded into the Active8 Component
Gallery. This is due to a restriction in the length of the display name.
This Update creates abbreviated names for the displays so that all ten
will appear. Users of Active8 version 2.0.1 will see the display names
in full.

Click the link below to download and install the update. If you have already installed Updates 001 or 002, the installation program will detect this and will upgrade it.
