Loading Derivity Analytics Displays Into Active8

Introduction

The Derivity Analytics displays can be loaded into Active8 allowing you to incorporate the displays in your own workbooks. Please note, this tutorial assumes a basic knowledge of creating custom workbooks in Active8.

To load the Derivity Analytics displays

• Switch to Design Mode, right-click on the active workbook and select Component Gallery from the popup menu.
• The Designer Tools window will be displayed. Click on 3rd Party in the Component Gallery tab.
• Right-click and select Customize. The Custom Controls dialog will be displayed.




• Check all the Derivity displays as shown. Press OK.
• The Derivity displays will appear in the Component Gallery. Click on the display you want and add it to your workbook.

Special Case: Active8 Version 2.0.0

Users of Active8 V2.0.0 should install Update 002 for Derivity Analytics version 5.1.2. When the Active8 Custom Controls dialog is loaded the following items should be checked:

The Derivity Analytics displays will appear in the Component Gallery as normal.
